Gi, Coach Sadiq & Coach Julio

Drill:

  • feet on hips to triangle
  • closed guard to trianlge

Technique:

  • how to escape being stacked – walk your shoulders back away from your opponent or reach behind your butt to grab your opponent’s farthest pant leg, swing your body to make them fall (sweep, yay!)

Rolls:

  • Coach challenged us to roll with our eyes closed. This was difficult and awkward, and a lot of us ran into each other. We shall try this exercise again another day.
